The Davis Chamber of Commerce #KeepItLocal campaign is proud to promote and support local businesses. The #KeepItLocal committee is launching a monthly campaign to recognize a chamber member for the month. The very first recipient of the Business of the Month award is Pavers, owned by Ron and Evelyn Gillihan.
Pavers will be the first business to display the #KeepItLocal Business of the Month award for the month of August at their business.
The Davis News will write a Business Spotlight about the business and the business will be highlighted on the Chamber of Commerce’s social media pages. Pavers will also be given the opportunity to be a guest speaker at one of the two meetings the Chamber will hold this month.
“The Keep it Local retail committee wants this to be all about the variety of great businesses the community of Davis has to offer,” said Jane Carter, #KeepItLocal committee chairman. “We are proud of our business members. We hope this will be a way the Davis Chamber #KeepItLocal committee can send some business their way.”
If you have questions, comments or ideas, please contact Carter, Samantha Williams, Lexia Cooper, Alisha Thompson or Executive director of the Chamber of Commerce, Stefanie Calistro. “Keeping it local will help support growth for our future,” Carter said.
The Davis Chamber of Commerce is located at 100 E. Main Street. This month’s meetings will be held Aug. 9 and Aug. 23. The noon meetings will have an $8 lunch available for purchase. The meetings are open to the public. For more information about the services the Chamber has to offer call (580) 369-2402.
