Davis Museum now open with new hours

GRAND REOPENING. The Davis Museum reopened on Tuesday and will now be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday each week.

The City of Davis has re-opened The Davis Museum on the heels of COVID-19 concerns in the county. The new open hours are going to be Tuesday through Friday 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Museum will be closed Sundays, Mondays and all legal holidays.
The museum is housed in the Old Santa Fe Depot built in 1907 and the 113-year-old building is still serving our city. The Davis Santa Fe Depot was officially listed on the Department of Interior National Register of Historic Places on April 15, 1995.
Museum Curator Gwen Williams gladly welcomes Davis citizens and out of town visitors. The Museum has displays dealing with history of Davis families, businesses and also Murray County history. The old printing press used by The Davis News for many years is housed in the south room of the museum.
For more information visit Williams at the Museum or call (580) 369-2518.
