Wreaths Across America has display at Davis Museum

The military appreciation trees are on display at the Davis Museum. Please come view the brave enlisted and the veterans. Davis residents wishing to add their loved ones photo on the tree are more than welcome to drop off a photo in a small frame. This is the fifth year for the Honor and Remember trees and organizers hope to add more trees until they have “forest on display.”
Those wishing to drop off a framed photo can do so at the Davis Museum Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Another way to honor veterans who have passed is the placing of a wreath on National Wreaths Across America Day. Green Hill Cemetery became a member of this elite group in 2018. This is the third year to honor those veterans. WAA will be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with wreaths placed immediately following. This is open to the public with social distancing suggested and attendees wearing a mask.
