SOLS adds library content streaming from Hoopla Digital

With Hoopla Digital, patrons of the Southern Oklahoma Library System (SOLS) can now instantly read, watch, and listen to their choice of more than 850,000 titles, with their SOLS Library Card.  The popular on-demand film streaming service hoopla digital is now available for free at all Southern Oklahoma Library System branches. Library card holders can access over 850,000 titles (audiobooks, eBooks, comics, music, movies and TV).Content can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the hoopla digital app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku.
Hoopla digital has pioneered a unique model that allows patrons to borrow content immediately, removing artificial availability constraints and maximizing the power of digital content and Internet distribution. Technologically, Hoopla Digital focuses on the latest browser, phone, tablet and TV products to deliver the best possible experience to each user – the public library patron.
“Providing digital content to our customers has been a top priority for us, “said SOLS Executive Director Gail Oehler. “Having the ability to use your library card remotely is especially critical during this time. Hoopla offers materials for all ages and we are excited to add the resource to our collection.”
The Hoopla Digital collection includes fan favorite movies, newly released albums, New York Times bestselling titles and exclusive educational content to enhance each user’s experience.
