Cathi Neal, Changing Course Foundation win United Way award

United Way Recipient Cathi Neal, CEO of Changing Course Foundation accepts a plaque at Monday’s United Way of Southern Oklahoma Kick-off event. Neal and Mistie Ibarra are United Way representatives for the Sulphur and Davis area.

Mistie Ibarra and Cathi Neal are serving as leaders for Davis and Sulphur with the United Way of Southern OK (UWSO). The campaign began on Monday with the Kick-off Luncheon with Ibarra and Neal accepting a plaque from UWSO in recognition of their funding Changing Course Foundation.
Changing Course Foundation is the non-profit that Neal founded and is the CEO. “This is the first in a long time and could possibly be the first ever Murray County Recipient of a United Way of Southern Oklahoma grant,” Neal said. “Changing Course is proud to be a UWSO agency.
Neal and Ibarra will visit businesses over the next few weeks to explain how to be a UWSO partner. To donate, set up a payroll deduction for your employees or find out more information call Ibarra at (214)395-4378 or Neal at (214) 477-2673
The UWSO campaign runs through Nov. 3, 2021.
Valero will host its annual UWSO Cook Off on Friday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct. 2.
