Richard A.F. Kasten

Richard A.F. Kasten of Sulphur was born Dec. 16, 1954 in Roswell, N.M., to Albert J. and Helen (Sisley) Kasten. He passed away Sept. 8, 2021, in Oklahoma City at the age of 66 years 8 months and 22 days.
Kasten grew up in Pryor where he attended school. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. After his military service, he was employed as a truck driver.
Kasten is survived by his daughters: Christine Annette Kasten, of Germany; and Amanda Sue Kasten, of Park Hill; brother: Albert Kasten, of Big Springs Neb.; sisters: Patricia Ann Maples, of Pryor; and Janice Irene Sharp,  of Belle Plaine, Kan. and 2 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sept. 13, 2021, at 1 p.m. at  Bryan Chapel Cemetery near Pryor and officiated by Pastor Steve Day. Burial was at Bryan Chapel Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home with the Military Service US Army Honors Team.
