Randall Duane Dykzeul

Randall Duane Dykzeul was born on April 30, 1955, in Long Beach, Calif. He died on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, in Sulphur, at the age of 66 years, 4 months and 16 days. He and the former Linda Dawn Mehlo were married on Sept. 1, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
At the age of three, Dykzuel moved, by train, from California to Cushing to live with his grandparents, Gail and Billie Brookshire. Growing up in Cushing, he graduated from Cushing High School, Class of 1973. Following high school, he spent a few years working for the Kerr McGee Corporation, prior to spending over 20 years working for the Wilbert Vault Company. In 1995, he moved to Sulphur, where he spent several years working at Disco Automotive.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn; three daughters, April LaNoy of Guthrie, Amber Mitchell of Bethel Acres, and Lacie Burton of Edmond; five stepchildren; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, with Pastor Jim Shepherd officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Sulphur United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 2022 West 14th, Sulphur, OK, 73086.
