Roy Lee Scroggins

Roy Lee Scroggins (age 67) of Hennepin left this world on Dec. 16, 2021. He was born Sept. 4, 1954 to James Ray and Clara Maud (Huckabaa) Scroggins of Wynnewood, both deceased.
Roy grew up in Wynnewood and started a truck-driving career for over 34 years. He became owner and operator of his own trucking business called Roy Scroggins LLC Trucking Company. Most truckers know him as Bodiddles.
Roy loved his friends and his family. He was someone who everyone could call upon for help. Roy was skillful and could repair anything.
He was a teacher, parent and best friend to his children, grandchildren, brothers, sister and many more who needed him. Roy was a man he did not have to be to many; he was a perpetual beacon of paternal love and stability, no matter the distance, he was always there when he was needed.
Roy loved living free and going fast.
Roy took up a love for dirt track racing. He is known for driving the #55 S El Camino. His racing team consisted of Kevin Scroggins #77, Robby Scroggins #57, Richard Scroggins #64 and the Pit Crew: Eddie Hector, Jeff Barnett, Cody Scroggins, Peanut and Tim Swafford.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his son James Lee Scroggins and his wife Jeanetta Sue (Britt) as well as his fiancee, Theresa Kay Giles.
Roy is survived by two sons: Edward Neil Hector, Kevin Lee Scroggins and his wife Angel Dawn (Bussey); grandchildren: Jared Michael Carter, Nichelle Kaylee Nicole Conde, Cody Lee Scroggins, Kaleb James Scroggins, Athena Joy Marie Scroggins, Anika Weller, James Lee (Peanut) Scroggins and Kayla Nicole Brody; great-grandchildren: Brody and Cooper Moore and Ayven Conde; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Roy leaves behind two brothers: Hugh Webster Scroggins and Bobby Lee Scroggins both of Pauls Valley; and one sister, Hazel Marie Scroggins Barnett of Wynnewood.
He was a loved man and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date for friends and family.
