First Graders present ‘Lemonade’ Thursday

The Davis First Grade will present their musical “Lemonade” Thursday in the Dorothy Jameson Performing Arts Center at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The morning show is for the Elementary. Anyone is welcome to come but the Pre-K through fourth grade will have priority seating in the front. The afternoon performance is for parents and the public and seating is first come, first served.
Join in the fairy tale frenzy when Chicken Little, the Three Little Pigs, Humpty Dumpty, the Cat with a Fiddle, Little Bo Peep, Little Boy Blue and a host of other characters are having a bad day! But, with the help of a cheerful Mother Goose, discover how they learn to make the best out of life’s ups and downs. This 20-minute musical features clever rhyming dialogue and 5 original songs in a variety of musical styles that is sure to please.
Characters include Mother Goose played by Karis Whatley, Chicken Little portrayed by Tyson McGee, and the Rooster is Isaac Tabor. The list of characters are: the Cat with the Fiddle played by Brandon Pellerin, Jack and the Beanstalk’s Mom played by Bryndle Vails, Humpty Dumpty is Connor White, Cinderella is Henleigh Pate, Ryann Ross portrays the Old Woman Who Lives in a Shoe and Makenzie Cervantes plays Rapunzel. The Three Little Pigs are Izayah Sampson, Reid Whatley and Bryson Johnson, and the Big Bad Wolf is Bryson Daly. Lexi McMurrain plays Little Red Riding Hood, Dawson Hall portrays Little Miss Muffet, and Liam Torres is the Spider. The Three Billy Goats Gruff are played by Braxton Breshears, Eli Raven and Cooper Moore, and the Troll is Carson McCartney. Little Boy Blue is played by Chad Sims, Little Bo Peep is played by Juliana Johnson and Sleeping Beauty is Hartleigh Ratchford. Soloists in the show are Karis Whatley, Makenzie Cervantes, Henleigh Pate, Isaac Tabor, Nixon Roady and Zara Sewell.
First Grade teachers are Jaimie Davis, Norma Johnson, Tara Millsap and Jill Swenson. Elementary Music Director Denise White invites the public to attend the show.
