Brenda Jean Caldwell

Brenda Jean Caldwell, a resident of Durant (formerly of Davis) was born Sept. 29, 1953, in San Joaquin, Calif., to Alvin Curtis and Nellie Jean (Ball) Joyner. She passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Durant, at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 9 days.
Brenda grew up in New Mexico. She was married to Richard Caldwell who preceded  her in death. They lived in Davis for 20 years running a custom home builders company before moving to Albuquerque, N.M., and then to Durant. Brenda was an ASE certified mechanic.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Jimmy Joyner and Marvin Joyner; and sisters, Darlene Beavers and Wanda Billingsly.
Brenda is survived by daughters: Audra Sanchez and husband Paul; and Charlotte Harrington, all of Albuquerque; sons: Chris Caldwell and Laurie of Sulphur; and Daniel McKneely of Albuquerque; grandchildren: Sarah Alvarez of Albuquerque; Amanda Herrington of Edmond; Devon Herrington of Albuquerque; Jacob and Andrea Leyba of Albuquerque; Audra Devrve and Parker Kennedy of Davis; Alex Sanchez of Albuquerque; Deanna and Seth Gordon of Albuquerque; and Tina Sanchez of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren: Legacy Davis of Sweetwater, Texas; Madden Drew of Edmond; Ayla and Ari Gordon of Albuquerque; and Brandi McKneely of Taos, N.M.; and grandbabies/furbabies: Freckles, Alley, Mia and Louie.
