Learn How to Make Spectacular Summer Salads and Dressings at Davis Public Library July 5

Summer is here. Join the Davis Public Library on Tuesday, July 5 at 2 p.m. for tips on how to make spectacular salads and homemade salad dressings. Presenter Shannon Ellis will demonstrate how to make pretty and tasty salads for all taste buds. Guests who attend will get to take home a jar of special homemade salad dressing along with recipes galore. Interested guests that would like to attend are encouraged to call for registration, space is limited.
With all this heat, motivation to be anywhere near the kitchen seems like a heatwave waiting to happen. Making refreshing and easy summer salads will help you get a healthy dinner or side dish on the table.
“We are excited to offer our patrons nutritious ideas during this time,” said Library Branch Manager Jonathan Edwards, “These healthy and eye-pleasing salads are sure to help everyone survive this heat.”
Davis Public Library is offering this program as part of a health literacy grant from the Oklahoma Department of Libraries (ODL). The program is funded in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
