Rosa Edwina Bristol-Moydell

•Edwina was born on March 11, 1946 in Wynnewood, Okla., to Robert E. Anderson and Rosa Stribling Anderson. She went to be with her Lord on Aug. 21, at 2:22 p.m. in Oklahoma City surrounded by her family. Services was held at Vinita Avenue church of Christ in Sulphur, Okla. on Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. Graveside in Foster Cemetery followed.
She graduated from Pernell High school in 1964. Her career spanned many years of working in law enforcement, which she loved. She was working as a legal secretary for the Murray County DA’s office when she retired. Her greatest passion was serving the Lord. She loved teaching Sunday school class, organizing ladies’ days and going on mission trips to Nicaragua. She loved to sing gospel hymns with her siblings and had a beautiful tenor voice. What she was most proud of was her family. It always brightened her day to see her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren coming through her door. She loved and was loved by many that knew her.
She is survived by her husband Dale Moydell; her daughter and husband Lisa and Randy Smith of Sulphur, Okla., her sons and their wives, Larry and Laurie Milligan of Seiling, Okla., Lance and Carla Milligan of Madill, Okla., and Lynn and Cathy Milligan of Foster, Okla. Step-daughter Tammy and Andy Stansberry of Willcox, Ariz. Siblings Wilma and Jack Smith of Enos, Okla., Rebecca Durham of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Larry and Libby Anderson of Pernell, Okla. Sister in laws Betty, Susan and Gail Anderson;14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and multiple nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed Bristol; brothers, Dalton, Don, David and Clois Anderson; sisters, Marie Oller, Norma Temple and Beth Frizzell; brothers-in-law, John Oller, Bob Frizzell and Jerry Durham; sister in law, Linda Anderson; nephew, Marc Anderson; and niece, Shirley Temple.
