Coach James “Jim” D. Dixon III

Coach Jim Dixon was born Dec. 9, 1950, in Duncan, to James D. and Patsy Joy (Crotts) Dixon. He passed away on Sept. 11, 2022, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 2 days.
Coach Dixon is survived by his wife: Mary Alice Dixon, daughter: Amy Dixon; and son and daughter-in-law: Reggie and Kim Dixon.
Services will be Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Crossway Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
The family request that those attending dress casual in Sulphur School Colors.
In lieu of flowers and food donations be made to Coach Dixon Scholarship Fund at BancFirst in Sulphur.
