Wolves Powerlifters Medal in Chickasha

Six Davis lifters medaled Feb. 16 at the Fourth Annual Dave Tapp Powerlifting Invitational in Chickasha. As a team, the Wolves placed fifth with 69 points.
Adley Bentley took second in her girls’ division. She lifted 155 pounds on squat, 95 on bench and 195 in the deadlift for a 445 total.
Chase Stewart finished third at 198. The senior recorded 455 on squat, 285 on bench and 465 on deadlift for a 1205 total.
Asher Waters placed fourth at 123, as did Sevy Adams at 145, Tyler Tinsley at 157 and Jacob McClellan at heavyweight.
Waters posted 250 on squat, 115 on bench and 315 on deadlift for a 680 total. Adams registered 285 on squat, 210 on bench and 405 on deadlift for a 900 total.
Tinsley lifted 325 on squat, 205 on bench and 415 on deadlift for a 945 total. McClellan totaled 1300 with 475 on squat, 275 on bench and 550 on deadlift.
Freshman D’Maree Means won first in the junior high heavyweight division. He recorded 420 on squat, 205 on bench and 370 on deadlift for a 995 total.
Bentley and the other female lifters will compete Feb. 27 at a meet in Ringling. The boys’ regional meet is scheduled for March 3 at Anadarko.
