Fourth Graders Present “Pirates, The Musical,” Thursday

The Davis Elementary fourth grade classes of Dana Digby, Coree Foster and Tanya Weldon will present their musical on Thursday at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Davis School Auditorium.
The morning show will be for the Elementary students. The public may attend this show but the Pre-K through third grade students will receive priority seating at the front. The afternoon performance will be for the public.
This year’s show is entitled “Pirates, The Musical.” “We’re off to sail the rollicking sea, pirates all are we!” But ARRRR, and shiver me timbers! There are Stowaways on board! Perhaps the King of the High “Cs” will know what to do. Join this salty crew of colorful scallywags when Bluebeard, Yellowbeard, Whitebeard, Purplebeard – well, you get the picture – hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail for a mighty adventure.
The King of the High “Cs” is played by Brendon Nicholls. Nhyla Austin, Izzy Helmers, and Payden Nolan are featured as the Stowaways. The main pirates are as follows: Corbin Blankenship as Brownbeard, Blake Campbell as Redbeard, Westin Dietz as Blackbeard, Aubrey Edgar as Purplebeard, Karlee Griffin as Pinkbeard, Brantlee Hux as Whitebeard, Isaiah Lineberry as Orangebeard, Rayden Reed as Yellowbeard, Kolt Smith as Greenbeard, and Blayne Walker as Bluebeard.
The Prisoners in the brig are Charles Austin, Madeline Gilliland, Braylen Houston, Gemma Mann, Abbigail McKee, Deslynn Weaver, and Fisher White.
Featured soloists in the production are Mattison Beasley, Zoey Casale, Taisley Christensen, James Garrison, Kiliana Johnson, Teyla Kintopp, Kailynn Lee, Kendall McCartney, Braylee Torres, Jamie Wills, Nicholls, Helmers, Nolan, Dietz, Edgar, Lineberry, Gilliland, Weaver, Charles Austin, and Nhyla Austin.
Elementary Music Director Denise White invites the public to attend the free show.
