Jimmy Wayne Copeland

Jimmy Wayne Copeland of Sulphur, passed away on Friday March 3, 2023, at the age of 70 years, 11 months 22 days. Copeland was born on March 9, 1952, in Stockton, Calif., to Oscar Lee and Joyce Marie (Vann) Copeland.
Copeland grew up in California where he attended school. He was married to Sheila Ann Boyd, who preceded him in death. Copeland moved to Sulphur in 1995 and worked in construction.
Copeland is survived by 2 sons: Johnnie Copeland of Sulphur and Jason Copeland of Tahlequah; brothers: Mel Jameson and Ricky Jameson; sisters: Marilyn Wagenman, Rhonda Hess and Cindy Jameson; and step-sister: Cindy Smith; and 7 grandchildren.
