Susie Ann Wallace

Susie Ann Wallace, a resident of Sulphur, passed away on Feb. 28, 2023, at Sulphur at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 17 days. Wallace was born on Jan. 11, 1943, in Stratford to Lee Poe and Sadie (Lewis) McDonald. Wallace lived in this area most of her life attending Oak Grove School. She worked at nursing homes, home health and as a cook at the Skill Center.
She and Roven Edmond “Bobby” Wallace were married in 1962 in Murray County. He preceded her in death June 15, 2002.
Wallace is survived by daughters: Louella Thomas, Mary Taylor, and Frances Lewis all of Ardmore; and sons: Edward Eugene Wallace of Irving, Texas and James McArthur Wallace of Sulphur.
Funeral services were March 3, 2023 at Crossway Baptist Church. Interment followed at Oaklawn Cemetery.
