Davis well represented at State Track Meet

STATE QUALIFIERS. Kensley Barnes (left finished seventh) in the 300 meter hurdles at the State track meet. Shelby Courtney, Tylisha McDonald and Lily Hefley ran in the preliminaries finishing 13th. Cassidy Parsons finished seventh at the State track meet with 7’6’ in the pole vault and Chase Stewart threw for 123’ and finished tenth.

Kensley Barnes and Cassidy Parsons both finished seventh on May 6 at the Class 3A State Track Meet at Ardmore. Barnes ran her best time of the year in the 300-meter hurdles in 49.40 seconds while Parsons cleared 7’6 in the pole vault.
Barnes also competed in the long jump. The sophomore jumped 13’07.75 but did not qualify for the finals.
The Lady Wolves’ 4X200 relay team (Shelby Courtney, Lily Hefley, Barnes and Tylisha McDonald) also ran in the preliminaries. The team finished 13th in 1:52.0.
Chase Stewart represented the Wolves in the discus throw. The senior threw for 123’00 and finished tenth.
