Graduation 2023 in Davis
Davis Public School students will celebrate graduation this week with 67 eighth graders graduating on Thursday. There are 10 honor graduates this year including: Gabe Bentley, Bintlee Burch, Reece Johnson, Dax Owens, Alivia Parsons, Jada Son, Jennifer White, Jaxon Wright, Kylie Atencio and Ainsley Waters. Their graduation begins at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
This year’s senior class motto is “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once and a while, you could miss it.” ~ Ferris Bueller. A fitting quote for a week packed full of activities for the Senior Class of 2023.
Wednesday night the Class of 2023 will have Baccalaureate at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium.
Sofia Rodriguez will offer the Pledge of Allegiance. Elisabeth and Madison Adams will present the scripture. Pastor Lance Whaley will give the invocation. The senior executives will sing Be Still by Jordan. The message will be presented by Pastor Thomas Hefley of Calvary Baptist Church. The benediction will be given by Pastor Johnny Tohnika of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Davis High School seniors will received their diplomas Friday at 7 p.m. at Falls Creek Tabernacle. Drew Whaley will present the invocation. Braeden Hefley, Rebel Jones and Jase King will all give their Valedictory Adresses. Sevy Adams and Hadyn Edwards will present their Salutatorian Adresses. The senior Executives will sing Have it All by Jason Mraz. The presentation of diplomas will take place. Kyler Drake will give the Graduates Creed. Anna Merrell will present the benediction.
