Explosion at Refinery

An explosion occurred Tuesday morning at the Wynnewood Refinery. A fire broke out in the unit. Multiple EMS units were sent to assist injured employees at the refinery and two helicopters flew out burn victims to hospitals.
In an official statement by CVR Energy: CVR Energy confirms that today (Tuesday) at approximately 8:20 a.m., a fire occurred in the gasoline hydrotreated at the Wynnewood refinery operated by its subsidiary. Two employees were injured and were transported offsite for evaluation. All employees have been accounted for.
Company officials are conducting a thorough investigation into this incident.
