Help Davis PD’s K9 Team win the Aftermath K9 Grant

HE’S A GOOD BOY. Help K9 Officer Miclo and Officer Smith win the Aftermath K9 Grant by heading the the Aftermath website, Instagram and Facebook pages on Thursday. Participants can vote once a day on all three sites until June 5. If K9 Officer Miclo and Officer Smith win, they will receive $2,500.

Starting Thursday head to to vote for Davis K9 Officers Jake Smith and Miclo. Aftermath is offering a $2,500 K9 grant that will help cover partial funding for an Ace K9 Hot N Pop Temperature Door Propper System, training costs; and a tracking harness with a tracking device (airtag.)
Officers Smith and K9 Officer Miclo operate as a multi-purpose unit specializing in: narcotics, suspect apprehension, tracking (people) and article search (objects.)
K9 Officer Miclo has been with Officer Smith since April of 2022 and on June 2, 2022, he was fully certified for service. Although fairly new to the force, the 3 year-old Malinois has already proven vital to uphold the law. In November of 2022, Officer Smith and K9 Officer Miclo were essential in the discovery and seizure of 115 pounds of marijuana and 23 pounds of methamphetamine, totaling over a million dollars in value on the street.

Starting Thursday vote for the dynamic duo on the official voting site at, Aftermath’s Facebook Page and Aftermath’s Instagram Page. You can vote one vote per site, per site each day. Voting ends June 5th.
