The Davis cross country team competed in its first meet of the season on Aug. 26 at the Red River Showdown in Marietta. Two runners represented the Lady Wolves in the high school division.
Ava Parsons ran the two-mile course in 19:28.04 and finished 53rd. Lola Thompson wound up 55th in 20:24.01.
Davis competed Aug. 29 at a meet in Marlow and will run Sept. 2 at a race in Madill.
