Donald Ray “Don” Blagg

Graveside services for Donald Ray “Don” Blagg were held Aug. 28, 2023, at Oaklawn Cemetery, in Sulphur, with Pastor Bill Leveridge officiating.
Blagg was born March 5, 1934, in Sulphur, to the late Earl and Mable (VanOrden) Blagg. He died on Aug. 23, 2023, at the age of 89. Don and the former Miss Mary Fran White were united in marriage on March 8, 1968, in Sulphur.
Blag was a lifelong resident of Sulphur, and a member of the Crossway First Baptist Church. Following high school, he joined the United States Army, being stationed in Germany for 18 months. Upon receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, he returned home and became employed with Sulphur Veteran’s Center.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Fran; one sister, Earlene Chandler of Sulphur; brother-in-law, Glenn White, also of Sulphur; and sister-in-law, Dr. Linda Crumb of Chickasha.
Services are entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Sulphur.
