Kayla Dawn Hunt

Kayla Dawn Hunt of Sulphur was born Sept. 11, 1979, in Pauls Valley to Gary Rawls and Rebecca Gaylene (Cottrell) Rawls. She died Aug. 22, 2023, in Sulphur at the age of 43 years, 11 months 11 days. She and Mitchell Hunt were married on Jan. 26, 2008, in Sulphur.
Hunt lived in this area all of her life, attending several schools, graduating from Roff High School. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Business from
Hunt is survived by her husband, Mitchell Hunt of the home; daughter: Elora Hunt; son: Jimmy Hunt; father: Gary Rawls; brother: Harold Rawls; sister: Nickie Swain; siblings: Cara, Tara, Kerry, Anna, Shawn and Brooks.
In lieu of a funeral A Celebration of Kayla’s Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. at the Monkey Tree in Chickasaw National Recreation Area.
