The Davis cross-country team competed at the Marlow Invitational on Aug. 29 and the Madill Cat Run on Sept. 2.
Ava Parsons, Lola Thompson and Alexis Watson all ran at Marlow in the girls’ junior varsity one-mile run. Parsons finished 16th in 8.45. Thompson came in 21st at 9.26 while Watson finished 23rd in 10.02.
Senior Wil Lyles ran in the boys’ two-mile varsity race and finished 63rd in 16.58.
Parsons and Thompson finished 62nd and 63rd respectively in the girls’ 3200-meter run at Madill. Parsons ran the course in 19:05.69 while Thompson clocked in at 19:10.19.
Lyles finished 72nd in the boys’ 5K run in 23:27.83.
The Wolves are not scheduled to run again until Sept. 26 when they compete at the meet at Velma-Alma.
