Brent Lee “Crowbar” Pickens Sr.

Brent Lee “Crowbar” Pickens Sr. was born on Sept. 6, 1959, in Lamar, Colo., to Troy Lee and Billie Jean (Scott) Pickens. He died on Oct. 30, 2023, in Sulphur, at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 24 days.
Pickens moved to Davis at an early age and attended Davis Schools. He later worked for Dolese for 14.5 years before working for TXI in Dallas until his retirement.
Brent and Lorraine Jetté were married on Oct. 22, 1995, at Sulphur.
Pickens is survived by his wife: Lorraine Pickens of Sulphur; daughter: Dustie Tyler; sons: Rustie Brown and Brent L. Pickens Jr.; sister: Tonya Jean Pickens; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Graveside services were Nov. 3, 2023, at Drake Cemetery with Rev. Fred Bailey officiating.
