Brendyn Pierce Places Ninth in Tishomingo Golf Tournament

Davis golf returned to the links last week and both teams played in a pair of tournaments. The Lady Wolves finished 10th on March 25 at the Generations Golf Course in Marlow and fifth at Tishomingo the next day. The Wolves placed eighth at Tishomingo on March 25 and entered two teams at Lake Murray on March 27.
The Lady Wolves recorded a team score of 434 at Marlow. Shelby Moring and Preslee Hunt tied for 20th with a round of 97.
Stella Baker shot 118 while Ryleigh Eaves posted a 122. Kiyah McGaha shot 124.
The Lady Wolves registered a round of 462 the next day at Tishomingo. Moring and Hunt tied again, this time for 17th with 105.
Eaves shot 124, Baker 128 and McGaha 135.
Brendyn Pierce finished ninth at Tishomingo with 80. He paced the Wolves who shot 387 as a team.
Dee Idleman posted 98 and Nick Pruitt 101. Rance Digby shot 108 while Ethan May 110.
Spencer Clinton had the top score for the Davis 1 team that finished eighth with 384. The senior finished 18th with an 87.
Pierce tied for 26th with 92. Pruitt shot 111 while Levi Laxton 118.
Davis 2 shot 406 and finished 11th. Digby led the team with 89. Tye Barnett recorded 99 while May 107 and Jody Primrose 111.
The Wolves played in a tournament at Sulphur on April 1. The Lady Wolves travel to Kingfisher April 3 and Falconhead the next day.
