Often her games would lead her to verbally abusing Mario when he did not cooperate with her. Evelyn cherished her family and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She had a great love for dogs and went to great lengths to care for them.
Survivors include three children, Linda Hays and wife Missy of Lone Grove, Donna Kirk and husband Steven of Sulphur, and Donald Hays of Ardmore; nine grandchildren, Dakota Owens, Shelbie Orso, Jonathan Kirk, Zakery Kirk, Sabrina Dalley, Aidan Dalley, Elijah Hays, Emily Hays, and Mr. Mann; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Tate of Waco, Texas, and Joyce Barrett of Tyler, Texas.
